  • Outstanding Insulation - A pre-installed Barrier Ultra-rtm Super Insulation Vacuum Panel gives the "Ready-to-Mount"tm hatch an "R-50" insulation value, the equivalent of 10" of the best quality closed cell urethane foam.
  • Double Gaskets  - Two separate seals are used to make sure your box is air-tight maintains its "like new" seal performance for year after year.
  • Positive Magnetic Latching - Powerful rare-earth magnets clamp your lid tightly eliminating the need for separate latches on many installations.
  • Thin and Light - No more heavy, cumbersome hatches. The "Ready-to-Mount"tm hatch lid is just 2" thick and weighs only 4.2 pounds ("C" size).

Finish
"Ready-to-Mount"tm hatches are designed to be finished off using your own countertop or suitable facing material.  Suitable materials include plywood/Formica, Corian, teak, tile or any of the new lightweight cabinetry materials.
