Masterflux compressor

The heart of the system is a Masterflux brushless DC rolling piston compressor. This quiet and highly efficient compressor was developed by Glacier Bay and is now produced by the Masterflux division of Tecumseh Products Corporation, the world's largest compressor manufacturer. Weighting less than 12 lbs, the compressor is 100% hermetically sealed and has 7x the refrigerating capacity of other DC compressors.
